TeamDynamix, a leading provider of service management and automation solutions, has acquired Sassafras, a software and hardware asset management company specializing in inventory and license optimization. The acquisition aims to strengthen TeamDynamix’s ITSM and ITAM capabilities, enabling IT teams to improve visibility, control costs, and streamline operations through asset intelligence, automation, and AI.
The transaction follows the recent appointment of Rod Mathews as CEO – a seasoned operator with a track record of scaling enterprise software businesses, most recently as CEO of Axcient through its growth and exit.
