2025 Inc. 5000 – Companies on the 2025 Inc. 5000 (“Inc 5000”, the “List”) are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2021 to 2024. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2021. They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent–not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies–as of December 31, 2024. (Since then, some on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2021 is $100,000; the minimum for 2024 is $2 million. Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Growth rates used to determine rankings were calculated to four decimal places. This recognition is based on the analysis of and information gathered by Inc. Magazine using its own criteria and methodologies. As part of the vetting process, Inc. Magazine interviewed one or more portfolio company representatives about their experience partnering with K1. Private equity firms that have exited U.S.-based, founder-led, public or private, portfolio companies within the past five years were eligible to apply. The number of private equity firms that applied for the 2025 award is not known to K1. An application and a fee are required to be named on the List. Top Software Investors of 2025 - The ranking and award was conducted by GrowthCap to recognize investors for outstanding investment judgment, business growth expertise and extensive deal experience. GrowthCap independently assessed nominees based each nominee’s breadth of investing experience, professional milestones achieved, and feedback from colleagues and portfolio company CEOs. The number of nominees reviewed for this award was not disclosed to K1. The designation, issued by GrowthCap on September 30, 2025, was based on the time period of September 2024 – September 2025. K1 paid a copyright and distribution fee in connection with the award. LABJ’s editorial team reviewed nominations submitted to LABJ and chose profiles to feature based on a demonstration of impact made on the profession and on the Los Angeles community. The publication was issued on June 2, 2025. K1 nor any of its employees paid compensation for inclusion in this ranking. PEI's Top Private Equity Firms of 2025 (“PEI 300”) – The 2025 PEI 300 ranking is based on the amount of private equity direct investment capital raised from third-party investors by firms for funds closed between 1 January 2020 and 31 December 2024, as well as capital raised for funds in market at the end of the counting period. The publication was issued on June 2, 2025. K1 nor any of its employees paid compensation for inclusion in this ranking.
